I’ve seen differing opinions on how children are to be named. Willy Nilly as long as it’s a saints name, or specifically for the Saint Commemorated on the day of his birth.

No, the old Trebnik, pre-schism, is not available in English, at least published. The Erie, PA Nikonian church (old-rite) might have all the services in it in English. They would be the place to start.

The Trebnik is the priest's book of needs, or his service book with various services based upon the needs of the faithful, both sacramental and simple. There are many new rite editions of the book, which will give you the general idea. But no editions that correspond to the Old Rite are available in English.
